WB GROUP, a European entity of global significance, traces its roots to the dynamic development of WB ELECTRONICS company. WB GROUP is also a story of export success, exemplified by the FONET digital communication platform. Historically, FONET initiated the development of comprehensive, complex systems capable of competing in demanding markets against products offered by the world\u2019s largest defence industry players. This required close cooperation with experienced and trusted partners in Poland, leading to a strategic partnership with RADMOR S.A., the largest Polish manufacturer of military radio communications.<\/p>\n
Years of development of systems dedicated to artillery revealed the need to integrate artillery fire-control systems with reconnaissance solutions. As a result, unmanned platforms were added to WB GROUP\u2019s portfolio. To ensure the delivery of reliable and proven unmanned systems to the Polish Armed Forces and international customers, cooperation was established with the Gliwice-based company FLYTRONIC.<\/p>\n
Another milestone in building global competitive advantage was the partnership with the Gdynia-based company AREX, an organisation with unique competencies in land systems and industrial automation. Leveraging AREX\u2019s capabilities, WB GROUP successfully delivered, among others, the turret for the 120 mm RAK self-propelled mortar, components of the unmanned ZSSW-30 turret, and the ZMU family of remote weapon stations in both land and naval variants.<\/p>\n
A natural consequence of this close cooperation was WB ELECTRONICS\u2019 acquisition of majority stakes in the companies with which it had previously worked in close partnership. The process of forming the capital group was completed in 2011, when majority shareholdings were acquired in RADMOR, AREX, and MINDMADE. WB GROUP\u2019s development strategy \u2014 focused on strengthening synergy among the competencies of individual companies \u2014 has since resulted in the addition of further entities to the Group.<\/p>\n
The deliberate selection of companies forming WB GROUP led to deep business integration, reflected in the exchange of competencies and experience, as well as in a joint product portfolio and shared sales channels. WB ELECTRONICS focuses primarily on command and communications systems; RADMOR specialises in radio communications and maritime unmanned platforms; FLYTRONIC delivers advanced unmanned aerial systems and aviation technologies; MINDMADE concentrates on specialised communications; and AREX develops weapon control systems and land-based unmanned platforms.<\/p>\n
