WB GROUP\u2019s solutions were presented to members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly\u2019s Defence and Security Committee during a live demonstration at the Weso\u0142a training ground. The spotlight was on the company\u2019s unmanned aerial systems and the Future Task Force manned-unmanned platoon, which made its debut at the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in early September.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The demonstration, held on 28 October at the Weso\u0142a range, was part of the NATO delegation\u2019s three-day visit to Poland and provided an opportunity for a first-hand assessment of the capabilities of Poland\u2019s defence industry.<\/p>\n

Particular attention was drawn to the Future Task Force vehicles \u2014 a concept developed by WB GROUP to integrate manned and unmanned platforms into a cohesive platoon capable of supporting mechanized, motorized, or armored battalions through remotely operated land systems.<\/p>\n

The Future Task Force includes an armored command vehicle equipped with advanced communication, command, and battlefield management systems, as well as the ZMU-05 remotely controlled weapon station for self-defense. The formation also features unmanned ground platforms fitted with mission-specific payload modules.

When operating on public roads, the manned-unmanned platforms function as standard light 4×4 all-terrain vehicles driven by operator-drivers. Once in combat mode, the operators transfer to the command vehicle, from which they remotely control the unmanned platforms from a safe distance. The vehicle cabin is lowered, and the platform switches to remote-control mode.<\/p>\n

Depending on mission requirements, the unmanned ground platforms can carry various payloads. The NATO Defence and Security Committee delegation observed platforms equipped with ZMU-05 remote weapon modules, WARMATE TL loitering munition launchers, and MN light scatterable mine launchers.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Future Task Force platoon, WB GROUP showcased its FLYEYE and WARMATE TL-R reconnaissance systems, as well as the WARMATE 3 and WARMATE TL-C loitering munitions. The guests also had the opportunity to see the WARMATE 5\/10 and BSP-U strike unmanned aerial systems, which form part of the GLADIUS reconnaissance-strike system.<\/p>\n

Another highlight of the demonstration was the WARMATE RR reconnaissance and relay platform, first unveiled at MSPO in Kielce. The system offers extended flight range and signal relay capabilities for other WB GROUP unmanned systems. Equipped with an observation payload, it can also conduct reconnaissance missions.<\/p>\n

WB GROUP also presented the FT-5 family of unmanned aerial systems, already delivered to the Polish Armed Forces as part of the GLADIUS program. The family includes variants for imagery intelligence (FT-5 IMINT), electronic intelligence (FT-5 ELINT), and radar reconnaissance (FT-5 SAR) using synthetic aperture radar.<\/p>\n
