The Unmanned Aerial Systems Training Centre of the Polish Air Force University has received accreditation from WB GROUP. The accreditation confirms that the Centre meets the manufacturer’s standards for unmanned systems and is qualified to deliver specialist training for operators.
The accreditation was granted following a comprehensive evaluation covering the training programme, instructional process, training infrastructure, technical equipment, and the qualifications of the instructor staff.
– I am very pleased that the Polish Air Force University has received WB GROUP accreditation. This is an important step in strengthening Poland’s national training capabilities and preparing operators of one of the country’s most proven reconnaissance unmanned systems – said Jarosław Czajka, Director of Unmanned Systems Programmes at WB GROUP, during the accreditation ceremony.
The FlyEye unmanned aerial system, developed by engineers at Flytronic, WB GROUP’s competence centre for airborne systems, has been in operational service with the Polish Armed Forces and international users for sixteen years.
The operational experience gained with the FlyEye system continues to drive both the platform’s further development and the continuous improvement of operator training. High-quality training remains a key factor in ensuring the effective employment of reconnaissance unmanned aerial systems.
The accreditation of the Polish Air Force University marks another milestone in the long-term cooperation between WB GROUP and the University. It reflects a shared commitment to advancing modern training for unmanned systems personnel by combining the manufacturer’s operational expertise with the University’s academic and training capabilities, further strengthening Poland’s competencies in the operation and employment of unmanned aerial systems.
