The Dutch delegation in Poland and the WB GROUP’s Showroom

A delegation representing the Dutch defence industry visited Poland as part of a mission related to the European Defence Fund (EDF) programmes. During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of government institutions and industry from both countries, including an event at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Warsaw and a presentation of WB GROUP solutions at the company’s Warsaw Showroom. The discussions focused on opportunities for industrial cooperation and joint participation in European projects.

At the end of February, the Dutch defence-industry delegation travelled to Poland to explore areas of potential synergy between companies from Poland and the Netherlands, as well as to strengthen industrial and technological cooperation in Europe.

Representatives of WB GROUP, including Adam Bartosiewicz, Vice President of WB, took part in a formal meeting held at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Poland, which took place the day before the delegation’s visit to the WB GROUP’s Showroom.

The event brought together representatives of public administration, industry and research institutions from both countries. It provided an opportunity to discuss ways to deepen industrial and technological cooperation between Poland and the Netherlands and to explore joint participation in projects carried out under the European Defence Fund.

The following day, the delegation visited the WB GROUP showroom in Warsaw, where it was introduced to the Group’s history, competencies and technologies developed by Polish engineers for modern armed forces.

During the presentation, participants have learned about the range of solutions, including unmanned reconnaissance systems, command-and-control and communication systems, and loitering munitions – technologies that have been battle-proven in high-intensity conflicts.

The Showroom visit also provided an opportunity to present WB GROUP’s solutions directly and to discuss potential areas of cooperation with industrial partners from the Netherlands.

The European Defence Fund supports the development of new defence capabilities by financing joint research and development projects carried out by companies and research institutions from EU member states. The initiative fosters international industrial partnerships and strengthens Europe’s technological base in the defence sector.

Meetings such as this play an important role in strengthening regional cooperation and reinforcing the defence capabilities of allied countries.
