WB GROUP’s strategic cooperation agreement with WITPiS

At the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, WB GROUP signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Military Institute of Armored and Automotive Technology (WITPiS, Wojskowy Instytut Techniki Pancernej i Samochodowej). The partnership covers joint activities in the development of unmanned systems across the land and sea domains.

On September 4, the strategic agreement was signed by Adam Bartosiewicz, Vice President of WB GROUP, and Colonel Michał Ceremuga, Director of the Military Institute of Armored and Automotive Technology. The agreement introduces opportunities for research and development cooperation in the design and integration of complex military systems.

“The area of unmanned systems, expanded to include the land domain, represents a significant enhancement of our portfolio. We expect the Institute to contribute not only to the research, but also to the development of these platforms. Military expertise is a resource we intend to integrate into our work”, said Adam Bartosiewicz, Vice President of WB GROUP.

“This strategic agreement with WB GROUP marks a new chapter in the research and development of unmanned systems – solutions that will soon play a decisive role on the battlefield”, said Colonel Michał Ceremuga, director of WITPiS, after signing the agreement.

The cooperation extends beyond research, encompassing the implementation and testing of new solutions in operational conditions. As the director of WITPiS pointed out, the agreement is part of a broader strategy for the development of unmanned systems, which will play an increasingly important role on the battlefield in the coming years.

“Our ambition is to complement WB GROUP’s competencies in two new domains. We believe that the Institute’s potential, combined with the requirements of the Armed Forces, will translate into a broad range of advanced solutions”, added Colonel Michał Ceremuga.

I am confident that WITPiS provides robust research facilities. This agreement will be quickly substantiated with practical outcomes – not only documented, but also tangible”, added Adam Bartosiewicz.

The agreement with WITPiS represents another step in WB GROUP’s efforts to build a national ecosystem of unmanned capabilities spanning all domains of operations.
