FTR-2 Radio Relay

FTR-2 Radio Relay

The FTR-2 radio relay provides continuous communication and data transmission between a UAV and a ground operator up to 180 km.

FTR-2 Radio Relay

The FTR-2 radio relay is designed to provide continuous communication and data transmission between the UAV and the ground operator at ranges up to 180 km. Data transmission security is ensured through built-in encryption and frequency hopping technology.
FTR-2 Radio Relay

The FTR-2 radio relay utilizes a common high-data-rate channel for the simultaneous transmission of data from sensors mounted on unmanned aerial platforms and control data transfer. Thanks to frequency hopping technology and programmable frequency switching, it is significantly harder for unauthorized parties to disrupt transmissions between the unmanned platform and the transmitter.

The ground unit is equipped with directional antennas automatically positioned based on location data sent from the aircraft. In the event of lost communication, the system switches to automatic aircraft search mode.

The radio relay features a redundant multi-channel antenna system as well as automatic search and communication recovery following a power loss. Data transmission security is guaranteed by built-in encryption. The radio relay operates in the NATO-compliant C-band.
