Speech by the President of WB GROUP

In his speech, Piotr Wojciechowski, President of WB GROUP, emphasized that he represents the largest private manufacturer of unmanned defense systems in Europe.

„The experience gained by WB GROUP in combat in Ukraine over the past dozen or so years provides a strong foundation for effective counter-drone solutions. Importantly, production is based on components and subassemblies of European origin”, said Piotr Wojciechowski.

However, the CEO of WB GROUP pointed out the difficulties in regional trade resulting from the fragmentation of the European market. „It is time for Europe to bridge this gap”, he added.

The most important event

The summit brought together leading European companies from sectors such as aviation (Airbus), industrial technologies (Siemens), infrastructure security (Thales), logistics and maritime transport (A.P. Møller Maersk).

The Copenhagen Competitiveness Summit 2025 is one of the most important economic events in Europe, attended by a carefully selected group of representatives of governments and major companies – dozens of personalities from the world of politics and business.

The Danish meeting created a space for both informal talks and the presentation of proposals to the European Union that could strengthen the competitiveness of companies.

The Copenhagen Declaration

The summit concluded with the signing of the Copenhagen Pledge, a declaration by 28 leading European companies – including WB GROUP – affirming their readiness to increase investment by 2030.

“Summit participants already generate combined revenues of almost €700 billion. This figure is expected to grow further if political and regulatory leaders create an environment conducive to innovation.

This can be achieved, among other things, by reducing regulatory burdens, removing barriers to the single market, creating financial instruments such as SAFE or the European Competitiveness Fund, and strengthening international cooperation around research and development.

WB GROUP delivers and integrates advanced systems, working with both large corporations and smaller companies. For nearly three decades, it has proven its ability to skillfully translate experience into technological successes and to engage in constructive cooperation in an international environment for the benefit of European sovereignty and collective security.
