WARMATE TL-R is a reconnaissance variant of loitering munition from the WARMATE systems family, equipped with an observation payload featuring both day and night cameras. It is designed for a start from a reusable transport-and-launch container. After leaving the launcher, the wings and control surfaces unfold automatically.


Unlike loitering munitions, WARMATE TL-R is a reusable unmanned reconnaissance system. After completing its mission, it lands by parachute, additionally protecting the observation payload with an airbag.

The WARMATE TL (Tube Launched) system’s launch containers can be used independently (transported by unmounted soldiers, supported on a folding bipod before launch) or integrated with any manned or unmanned land or water platform.

WARMATE TL-R has been adapted to work with artillery and integrated with the TOPAZ ICMS. It not only enables the detection and identification of targets on the battlefield, but also the precise reporting of their location and determination of the effects of the strike.

WARMATE TL-R has been integrated with the Artillery Reconnaissance Vehicle (AWR) and delivered to the Polish Armed Forces. In this configuration, it serves as a reconnaissance system for support companies using 120-mm M120K Rak self-propelled mortars.

WARMATE TL-R is the first unmanned system in the Polish Army that is fully integrated with an armored vehicle. Two transport and launch containers are mounted on a protected base that is raised before launch. The reconnaissance system is controlled fully automatically from inside the vehicle.
