X-FRONTER Personal Unmanned System
X-FRONTER is a personal unmanned aerial system that serves as equipment for soldiers or uniformed services personnel. It significantly expands the user’s situational awareness while providing the capability for safe observation during rapidly changing situations on the battlefield or in other environments.
X-FRONTER is lightweight, which facilitates transport, including carrying it in specially designed pockets of military tactical gear. It can also be integrated with other systems offered by WB GROUP, such as the AMSTA perimeter protection system, or with manned and unmanned vehicles.
X-FRONTER is immediately ready for use – launch is performed by hand or from a launcher (which enables simultaneous charging of the personal unmanned vehicle). This allows it to instantly provide the user with information about the surroundings.
X-FRONTER is another system from WB GROUP equipped with an interchangeable mission module. The basic imagery reconnaissance module accommodates an observation payload with a daylight and thermal imaging camera. Other available modules include: a combat module – featuring a warhead with an explosive charge, or a marker module – containing a flare, a smoke charge, or a marker (e.g., infrared).
X-FRONTER is adapted for swarm operations. It is equipped with automatic separation between other personal unmanned vehicles, as well as obstacle recognition algorithms. Within a swarm, X-FRONTER systems with different mission modules can perform distinct roles. One can act as the leader equipped with an observation payload, coordinating the attacks of the remaining unmanned vehicles equipped with combat modules.
X-FRONTER can be controlled manually or perform a flight along a pre-planned route, conducting continuous patrol missions in military facilities or areas containing critical infrastructure. When combined with the AMSTA system, it can automatically launch to conduct reconnaissance of detected anomalies or identify intruders.
